The house is located on the north-west of Antioch, in Ekinci Village. The site covered in olive trees and existing stone retaining walls create privacy barrier between house and street. The request of clients was to share the house with their friends and family. The clients wanted to live in a house that welcomed incoming guest. However, at the same, time they wanted to have their privacy. The minimalistic design of the house ensure different functional areas for family members’ activities. On the northern and southern facades, slatted timber shutters are used in order to control the natural light and privacy. The most private volume holds the bedrooms and the wood material used to create warmer atmosphere. The public and meeting spaces are located in the ground floor which they have direct relation with garden and they formed with concrete and glass materials.
