AD Architecture Studio is dealing with a designing of a house on the west of the Turkey in Gülderen Village. The land positioned on a hill covered in trees. The house having a spectacular panoramic view of Antioch. The remote location of the house provides tranquility and at night the absence of artificial light to the close area provides a tremendous view of the stars.

Studio‘s main goal for this project is to propose a new design embracing Antioch’s vernacular architecture, interpreted by an innovative design language. The house takes advantage of the local breeze that travels up the valley towards the house, passively cooling in the summer months with crossflow ventilation. The natural materials are used as concrete, stone, wood and plaster for floors and walls.
